After the album Watercolours, concerts as a Quintet (Bernard Paganotti, Antoine Paganotti, Eric Seva,
Jean Gobinet), and recording the album From Here to There, I wanted to change the stage band in order to perform the music as closely as possible to that on the album. So, we now form a group of eight musicians : Octagone.

With the regular rhythm section, fused together by previous experience (PagaGroup/ Quintet Watercolours) there are five woodwind and brass instruments ; despite the written parts, the music remains quite loose as a whole, with free improvisation enabling all the musicians to be expressive. Almost all the musicians contributed to both albums.
