Denis Leloup - Trombone
“1er prix” (1st prize) from the Conservatoire de Paris in 1980.
He was part of the Orchestre National de Jazz in 1986 directed by François Jeanneau, then from 1987-1988 directed by Antoine Hervé.
Michel Petrucciani asked him to join his sextet for his 1997-1998 tour.
He accompanied Dee-Dee Bridgewater in 2002, and Henri Salvador in 2004.
In 2002, he formed a duo with Zool Fleischer, with whom he recorded the album “Zooloup” (Cristal Records) which was chosen as a favourite at the Charles Cros academy.
He plays with or has played with a number of Parisian orchestras : Jean-Loup Longnon, Denis Badault, Laurent Cugny, Gérard Badini, the Patrice Caratini Jazz Ensemble, the Martial Solal NewDecaband, François Jeanneau, Antoine Hervé, Serge Adam, and the Paris Jazz Big Band.
